This last weekend in Hermigua we celebrated the Skypar paragliding festival. This event, already in its 5th edition, has been a success with 100 paragliders arriving from all around the archipelago. The fligh parts from the viewpoint of La Orilla, in the road to La Caleta beach. The bay of Hermigua has great conditions for the sport, and is already the most visited point when paragliding in La Gomera. The landscape you can enjoy during the flight, over Hermigua old davit and natural swimming-pool or the views of Agulo and El Teide are also a very important attraction.
For those who, tempted by the sport, wish to take a first contact, there was also a spot with the two-seater option. They could enjoy risk-free gliding with an official pilot.
The Professional Association of Hermigua and Apartments Los Telares have collaborated with the event, offering services and lodging to the pilots. And for those flight lovers, we remind you that this festival will be celebrated again next year on September 2014.
